I don't need your pity,
and I don't need your hand,
I'm not that strong, you don't understand.
I hold the tears, but lose the fight,
I end up wide awake at night...
And think of things I shouldn't,
I die inside so fast,
But none of this will matter,
when in time I pass,
to a whole new world,
something worth living,
I will run away to find,
I hold a smile somewhere...
in this broken heart of mine.
