Growing demands
On a young boy’s heart,
New issues arrive
And tears it apart,
Wanting more
But receiving less,
The poor boys heart
Is left in a mess,
He attempts to cope
And see it through,
But instead it mounts
And out of view
Move on he’s told
It’s been and gone,
The love you hold
Must be withdrawn,
You’ve had your chance
Just let her go,
It’s not you she seeks
Don’t hide, you know,
The love you have
Will be used again,
But for this girl
It can’t remain
