Joy is health and a song to sing
But joy left on future's wing
The present holds the past on trial
The past is ever in denial
The present cries and cries the tears
Held in captivity all those years
The future holds hope and a vision
But the future waits outside the prison
The present won't forsake the past
The past is a never ending task
Joy is health and a song to sing
But joy left on future's wing
