For reasons that I can't explain,
There is no way to make it plain,

For you I love, no other one,
As you lie in there in mourning sun,

So loved by all, but mostly me,
It makes it hard for me to see,

Oh why did you die and leave me here?
So all alone in so much fear?

I thought you loved me, I thought you cared,
I thought you wanted me, but this you dared,

And still I love you, I always will,
So rest in peace, my beloved . . . .

I like this poem a lot. I think most anyone can really relate to the angry feeling you get one leaves, but that's not unusual, it's just because you weren't quite ready to let them go. Great poem.
