Thirteen

Thirteen

Twas a night of howling winds and walking dead,
Complemented by thunder and lightning colored red,
I was out minding my own business, eating some flesh,
Ripped from a stranger a virgin, so tasty and fresh,
Accompanied by some mates a demon and a ghoul,
We were heading to a party at dead mans knoll,

When our ears heard some sickening screams,
Blood curdling, similar to nightmarish dreams,
As we got nearer to the source we begin to wonder,
What is it that screeches so, in to what do we blunder,
Around a corner on the ground, a werewolf on his knees,
Clutching his groin, he screams gawd I hate these fleas,

Laughing in mirth at this hilarious sight,
We leave him to deal with his hygiene plight,
Before long we hear the music of the reaper,
Playing our favorite song, freak the sleeper,
This party is going to be one of the best,
As we dance up a storm at this hell fest,
Waiting for the clock to strike thirteen,
When virgin’s blood will flow as foreseen,
By a crazy vampyre our own nutty seer,
Soon the orgy begins as we celebrate the New Year,

And so ends another year chronicled by harpy screecher,
An old birdbrain, the local historian and our only teacher,
Written in blood, so that we never forget the old ways,
Our past for all to read…. and the way it was in the old days.

You almost made me fear to be alone
Keep me reading to the very end.
Keep it up gurl.
