Your Words Bring My Heart To A Stop

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Sunday, 19th December 2004 @ 01:52:49 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

I am almost dead because of you
Your poems are so much like you
Sad and dark and so amazing
Everything about you overwhelms me
Leaving me in utter admiration
Your words bring my heart to a stop
I die after a line and am brought back to life
By the line that follows and this happens continuously
Until the poem ends and sometimes I don’t come back
Your words become too much for my heart to take and so it burst
There inside my chest leaving nothing but an empty shell
While my soul is set free and sores until it misses you
Until I am brought back by the beauty of what you write
Your soul is precious to me and I want to protect your fragile heart
I want to take you by the hand and kiss your broken skin
I want to kiss your lips and bite them softly
To have the taste of them haunt my life
I want to put your hands on my face and feel them turn silk
Into a frail thing as they warm my cheek and you to kiss me again
In this kiss we breathe as one and I take a part of you into me
And you take a part of me into you so we would never truly be apart
Both parts we will always cherish and keep near out hearts
And you and I will always feel whole

The follwoing poem is just one i wrote a bit ago

My heart has been longed consumed
By this sadness that chooses to fade away then come back only to resume
Its ways of belittling my heart mind and soul
Its sole purpose is to swallow me whole
I am broken and waiting for my demons to finely hone
The ways they make me want to kill my self making me slash away right to the bone
I have cut so much in so few years my skin has grown numb
Nullified by the dying nerves my skin has come undone
But I die painfully and not quickly enough
Death breaths behind my neck his cold huffs and puffs
But he says it’s not my time
I have yet to write and make my last rhyme

i didnt want to comment but if i do, at least you are getting some of the attention that you so clearly crave. poems that are as synthetic as this gives other peoples poems who are troubled and sincere little affect.
