i will be awake
before the morning light
wishing you were
here by my side
as always you will
be the first thing
i will think
about when i arise


i never say
i love someone
if it isn't so
but you have gone
and now you will
never know how
my feelings
for you forever grow


there isn't
a day that goes by
i don't
think about your
engaging smile
how you walked
the way you talked
and how you loved me
if only for a while
