Last night I looked up and cried, wondering why life's passing me by.
Last night I saw our dreams fade away, making my day long and gray.
Last night I spoke to you, needing you and wanting you.
But all I could do is wish, hope and pray and count the ways.
I wish that we could turn back the hands of times, making it like how it used to be.
I wish that our hearts could be free to open up and express how we feel.
I wish for all the bad days to disappear, have focused goals that are crystal clear.
I wished last night for you and I, last night I wished for us.
