Sister

Contributed by Magic on Saturday, 18th December 2004 @ 09:25:15 AM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

I have a loving sister, she's miles and miles away,
But even through the distance I hear her everyday.
She whispers to me on the wind, her touch is the warmth of the sun,
Her smile is in the stars above, the moon that is her love.
We haven't always got along, some things were said and done,
I hurt her very badlly, but that's when I was young.
I revealed a deep, dark secret, that's haunted me for years,
Not only do I feel better, now she sees things more clear.
She is my only sister, I love her with all my heart.
Maybe someday soon we won't be so far apart.
Until that day dear sister, I'll hold you in my heart,
And if you do the same with me, We'll never be apart!
I Love You
