So many people say that they are ugly
And many would make fun of such a thing
But what do you get out of making fun?
Is it pride, being cool, or an ego thing?
Does it matter if your fat?
Or to skinny, white or black?
Does it really matter that much?
Why don't you take a step back
If your judging someone's Looks
And to you that's all that matters
Then what does that make you?
Do you think your any better?
It really makes me sick
That people judge a person by their looks
Take the time to get to know them
Or share with them a special book
If you see someone you think is ugly
Share a smile, a hug , or handshake
Don't judge them for your laughs
Because it's you making the mistake
I may not be that pretty
With the scars i have on me
But i'm no less of a person
Just because you choose to judge me
To me nobody is ugly
Everyone has they're own qualities
Looks aren't what matter in life
And this is how life should be
So if someone says your ugly
Just smile and walk away
And know that you are beautiful
In your very own unique way
Don't let peer pressure drown you
Or what other's say get you down
Just know that someone loves you
It's the judgers who will go down

This is wonderfully written with a great message. I agree that people shouldn't judge others by how they look. I don't, why should other people?

long time no see....
i've been away for a very long time.... i never stoped writing but i didn't had the chance to stop by at the page....
now that i do.... i feel alive again... for poetry it's my only life....
and with this poem how could i not???

Judgement is for arrogant court judges who think they know all based on a second or third hand notice...Judgement is for human nature as cruel as it is. So if Judgement comes from the worse of the worse then it confuses me as to why many people practice it. Aren't human's supposed to be the beings who learn and attempt to understand? Oh well looks like there's a bad apple in every bunch and i'm glad that you aren't one of them. Thanks for the read.

Hey Oreo! I totally agree with the message of this poem. Many times have I witnessed people poke fun of one one person many times. It makes me wonder how people who are imperfect themselves, as everyone is, think that they can treat someone who has emotions and feelings the way that they do. Maybe its too draw attention away from thier own flaws or to protect themselves from getting the emotional pain. Im not sure, but people cannot possibly have been steered that far from humanity.

| I was always picked on because I wasn't living the high life when I was younger. I was always judged because I couldn't get myself a 3 0r 4 hundred dollar jacket. Makes alot of sense doesn't it? Great write Oreo...no one is ugly, and its good for someone to remind some of us every once in awhile... you really hit home for me when you said

because i too have many scars, too many to count...and yes, people have judged...it breaks my heart.
