Standing between darkness and light
theres always a choice where to go
always a choice...
Even when fate has been decided
you can accept and go in silence,
OR
you can reject and go kicking and screaming.
Some will reach for the light.
Doing anything they can
to stand
in its warmth.
For others
light casts the shadows of hope and jealousy.
Nothing can be seen in complete darkness,
everything is cloaked in black.
The blind lead the seeing with equal aptitude.
Yet, even the smallest light emerging from such darkness
can be seen
for miles and miles,
radiating
with a steady glowing hope.
All who stand in the light cast shadows.
All who stand waiting in the darkness
must decided
to either strive to make their way into the gleam
or simply fade to black.

Very good write. This really touched me especially right now. So many thoughts running through my mind lately. I think I will keep trying to make it.
