I split the only thing
I wanted from you
Both parts equal nothing
So now I'm confused
Why can't you be something
That isn't you?
I just want the one thing
Where you were abused

And for this...
I hate myself
Because of this...
You need more help
And for this...
I abhor myself
Because of this...
I am no help

I split the only thing
That you had to give
Both parts equal something
Though you barely live
Yet I can only see nothing
And embrace my shiv
And cut down for that one thing
Which without you can't live

And for this...
I hate myself
Because of this...
You need more help
And for this...
I abhor myself
Because of this...
I am no help

You kept it

And I lost it

And I died

Forever by your side
