Only Around The Corner

Contributed by maryetta on Friday, 17th December 2004 @ 12:32:13 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

she stands at the door gazing out at nothing
her mind focuses on this that and nothing
how could she not have seen it coming
why was she so blind the pain of rejection hurts
living in a dream world pain is only around the corner

wondering what she did wrong she looks upon the stars
did i love him too little did i love him too much
whose fault was it hers or his will she ever know
she glances down and thinks does it really matter
living in a dream world pain is only around the corner

it really came as no surprise to her it just hurt
buried deep in her mind she had suspected the truth
but she didnt really want to believe it would happen
but now she had to face the truth it was over
living in a dream world pain is only around the corner

facing reality is never fun it can be very devastating
and for her it was very devastating to face the truth
she couldnt face her life without him but could she wilh him
so she now lives in the in between world
living in a dream world pain is only around the corner

I think that you are a very good writer and that you need to keep expressing the way you feel.
