Definitions Slowly Fade

Precious empty pages left,
Pure white canvas, lined in blue
Inviting sheets of paper wait,
Untouched and empty, eager to,
Be filled completely, line for line,
With words reflective of this life
Bursting, streaming, coat the page
These words are blood, my pen is the knife.
Each stroke and line, it pours itself
Beyond the shapes and scribbles made
Emotion seeping, flowing out,
And definitions slowly fade
How can it be, my racing pen,
Creating only scratch and swirl,
Can have a power, such as this,
To bring to colour, my whole world?

Oh, I can surely relate to this!
Don't you just love an empty sheet that's waiting.
