Don't let it be Christmas
When I sit with blue shiver
Alone, all a lonely
Don't let it be Christmas
Don't let
your lights twinkle and shine,
see my breath
cloud frozen air
snow fort all a lonely
know no one is there.
Don't let it be Christmas
Green trees and sleigh bells, my
house, arms
are empty
my chest
Hollow cavity, now
alone
Don't let it be snowing,
feathered flakes all around,
they melt on my cheeks...
all a lonely.
When I sit in black shiver
XXXXX, all a XXXXX,
Don't let it be Christmas.
Don't let me see
under the mistletoe
you & you & you & you
kiss and hold and paint and you
Don't let it be Christmas
for me.

Ok, you probably don't want a comment from me, but I couldn't just sit here and watch this get no comments. It's better than that.
Um, well, I'm gonna say that really stupid thing: I can relate.
True though, I can. I don't particularly like christmas now, It is an incredibly lonely time for many people.
I think you have made that clear in this poem.
Good write Lane.
