Love's Dare

Silent whispers in the dark,
Heated words so long unheard,
A lovers wish, a gentle touch,
All real, no dreams, is much preferred.
Thoughts in and out of waking state,
Some true, some false, but all too real,
The heart's a treasure old past time,
And love is but its broken seal.
Love is such a wonderous gift,
From heart to heart for all to share,
It's but a tender grasp away,
If only we'll accept the dare!
