Topic: oops

At first I was afraid to like you,
Not knowing what you would do,
If you knew or not.
Then I admitted it to myself and sought,
To see whether it was shared.
After periods of thinking yes and being scared,
I finally learned that you liked me as well.

Now that I knew you liked me,
My fears should have vanished and let me be,
But they didn't for I was afraid of something new.
I now feared I'd fall in love with you,
And something bad would happen like I was used to.
I did fall in love with you but I don't regret doing so,
For I want to be with you.

Now that I love you and you love me,
There's only one thing I fear highly,
And that is losing you.
The time I talk with you I value,
More than anything else possible,
And for it I am very thankful.
I never want it to go away,
And forever I want to be able to say,
I love you.
