Life is watching
from the edge of the city.
Serenity lost,
and seeking the comfort of poets
finding romance in the gutter,
You have been here before.
Life is at 4pm, Broadway and 48th,
where is the sin in that backward glance?
I have gone as far as you would take me,
the snows of Millcreek are 3 years gone.
Life is watching
from the shadows in the city,
You are remembered
and You have been here before.
It is the place where you live in my soul.
