She's tried this once before,
But has not yet suceeded.
She's falling faster than ever before,
She finally works up the couage to die,
Like a young deer learning to stand.
She's not sure when,
where,
how,
why?
This she knows.
She's not happy with her life
And can't go on any longer.
As she prepares herself for the end,
She prays to God for forgivness.
Forgivness for stealing,
cheating,
lying,
smoking,
drinking,
hating,
living.
Then she leaves.
She leaves the house she's always loved,
The life that she so hates.
She leaves the brother she's always had,
The mother she thought she knew.
And as she goes through this process,
Is set free from this mess they call her life,
She thinks about what she has done...
The people she has hurt,
The pain she has caused,
and starts to cry.
She wipes away her tears and her life
As the cold blood mixes with her hot tears,
She knows
That she is letting go of the pain.

Sad poetry is right. But a nicely delivered image. |
