Go to sleep child
escape from reality's scorn
Clasp onto your pillow
as to not be forlorn
Don't let yourself be tainted
for when its gone its gone for good
Go to sleep now child
Like a good child would
Your nightmares still plague you
Like the birth defect found too late
But can we undo
Undo what is fate?
Keep your dreams in plain sight
Keep reaching for the stars
for if you let them go
they may slip away with the night
Don't fall in love
there's a thin line between love and hate
Its not worth the heartache trust me
But just can you deceive fate?
My words fill your head
like a catchy song
but you deny your intuition
When everything is wrong
You can't say you enjoy living
even if you haven't really 'lived'
You want to set your soul free
You gave all there was to give
The overdose in your body
Sleeping pills well dissolved
Send you in a slumber
but problems are not resolved
Say a prayer for you
and say one for me
You are my reflection
and my reflection is thee
