CAN YOU TEACH ME?

Contributed by LEMMEN on Tuesday, 14th December 2004 @ 07:01:41 PM in AEST
Topic: poets

Can you see the poem?

I can see the poem.

Can you feel it when you
write it?

I feel it when I write it.

How dose it feel to write
what you feel?

It feel's great to share
with others my poems.

Do you write the truth?

All words have a bit of
truth behind them.

How do you know what
to write?

I don't know it just comes
to me.
The paper is blank,
The words just appear,
It's kinda weird.

Do you like what you
write?

No not all of the time,
But It has to be wrote
things need to be said.
I say them on paper the
words I cannot say.

Can you write one for me?

Yeah I can, I can write just
about anything.

Will you write one for me?

I don't know you tell me about
yourself.
Let me get to know you then,
I'll write one for you.

What have you written about?

What haven't I written about
is the question you should
have asked?

I have written on just about
everything from a to z.

Can you teach me?

No

You can teach yourself
It comes from within.

I can show you thing's

But it's a inner drive that
leads me to write these thing's.

I write generally about my personal life and interactions with others. Occasionally I will write one that just pops in my head as most of my poems do. It just comes and type it and submit. Heart poetry is my favorite. I think it tells a lot about a person.

Smile Dennis,
Rita

A question my daughter has asked me before. All I could tell her was sit down with a pen and paper and just start writing. Write what you feel. Very good write.

Thanks for the inspiration.
