Drais Tale IV. The Hearts of Time

A long, feathery cape
The grasp they cannot escape
This is the night world of Drais

He dines never by his lonesome
Yet when he's finished, the
Mess is quite gruesome

Haunted by a past unknown
The traveling hunter brandishes
A miniature cross made from animal bone

He stands ready to stake the
Creature at its heart
And never afraid to face
Humanity's fear

Drais is so immersed in this rivalry
And he always upholds his
Twisted code of chivalry

Drais feeds first and asks questions later
Much to the demise of many a dinner guest

The two hearts anxiously await thier encounter
Who will be the victor?
Only the hearts of time will tell...

"Tell me where I can find him,
I have searched, yet in vain!
Tell me where I can find him,
This eternal Taker!

"It is not for me to tell you
It is for you
To tell yourself
You could search the entire earth
And still he would evade you
But he would be right in front of you
Search inside yourself
Ask yourself, "Why have I searched in vain?"

"If you were to see the
Atrocities this man, no,
This creature is responsible for
You would surely tell me
Of his whereabouts."

"If you have seen the
Atrocities you say this
Creature is responsible for
Then you would speak it to yourself
Of his whereabouts."
