Hello, my desire,
Though apart are we.
I only wish,
You were always with me.
Oh, what friction!
I wrestle with the contradiction.
One moment in your arms,
Engulfed in your charms,
Another, your gone,
like the sad memories of a song.
For those minutes, feeling so deep.
A passion and love, I long to keep.
Still, I wonder, as we part.
Will she have the strength?
Will she keep and hold my heart?
My head says you feel as do I,
And though our dreams we must hide.
The depth remains through it all,
Though, but a step from the fall.
So I wait, a time to steal.
My life this swinging gate,
One side so wanting, yet so unreal.
And yet another day, I’ll fear
what you may choose.
That you’re soul will weary,
And your love I’ll lose.
But today, I’m yours,
And you are mine,
though behind closed doors,
will our love shine.
It doesn’t change the thrill I get
Whenever my eyes upon you set.
Your beauty, as deep as the sea.
Make boundless my thoughts of thee.
With you I have not a care,
just longing your life to share.
