Sometimes words mean more than they say.
And can hurt in so many diffferent ways.
But one thing I know,
As through this life we go,
hurting you
Is something I don’t wish to do.
There are days we share so very much,
And other times it seems we’re out of touch.
Forgive when I want to share so much more,
Only because it’s you I adore.
So jealousy will raise its head.
Probably till the day I’m dead.
And I’ll apologize in advance.
Knowing with you,
I’ve taken my biggest chance.
But every moment that we share,
Causes me to even deeper care.
The good times far outweigh the bad.
Happiness overwhelms the sad.
Loving you makes me smile.
Whether sharing our bed, or apart a mile.
When we’re apart,
please just don’t forget,
within your hands you hold my heart.
Treat me gently,
for this you know.
Wherever you are,
there my soul goes.
I love you more than words can express.
And to you only will this I confess.
These feelings I have I’ve not felt before.
Sometimes as strong as the oceans mighty roar.
And so I’ll be here come what may.
And only your wish could make me go away.
You’ll have me always throughout the years.
And not being with you is my only fear.
So, I’ll take what moments there are.
Loving, caring, devoted, though often, from afar.
