Energy is what we need,
from humans or from earth,
we call ourselves immortal,
based on our rebirths.
I know we may seem different,
by appearance or by mind,
but once you know the real us,
you’ll see what’s deep inside.
You’ve all heard of vampires,
in the movies and the books,
so when you hear and read,
don’t judge us by our looks.
We’re people just like you,
though our emotions do run high,
all we take is energy,
we take it to survive.
I hope that after reading this,
you know that we do feel,
I hope that you understand,
that we are truly real.
