The Cutter Within

Contributed by witch_derna on Tuesday, 14th December 2004 @ 06:36:57 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

This wonderful messed up life
I wish I could just go to sleep at times
When I'm holding a carving knife
That's when I feel happy sometimes.

Cutting marks to see within
To see if I'm even alive
I watch the blood flow begin
It's then that I take five.

Do I go deep or do I stop?
Maybe just enough to feel release
Just so I can still cover with my top
Maybe one day I'll know true peace.

That day has come for me you have showed me what true love can be.
You helped me to see that there is a life other than cutting my flesh away.
And someday together we will over come it comepletely.

~LOVE DENNIS~
