Goodbye my love.

Contributed by brokenwings on Monday, 13th December 2004 @ 10:06:34 PM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

Never thought the day would come,
when you would say goodbye.
Never thought the time would come,
when you'd leave me here to cry.

All my friends say I'm doing just fine,
because the smile is there for them to find.
but deep down I'm falling apart.
no laughter can mend this broken heart.

When we said nothing at all
every kiss and every touch
each that said so much.
Are now nothing more than memories.
locked away in our time.

How do I live like this?
Without my lover, my friend, my whole life.
Our dreams and plans dies with you.
yet you sill live in my heart.

I'll never doubt that we were meant to be.
Your love was the one thing that set me free.
Now this broken heart must say goodbye..
and wipe the tears i cry for you...
