The man who hides

Contributed by pleasure_is_pain103 on Monday, 13th December 2004 @ 06:56:29 PM in AEST
Topic: AmericanTragedy

Before the day
We were ignorant and conceited
But then someone made us feel,
We could be defeated.
Right on our homeland,
We were attacked
By a man who believed
We couldn't strike back

It took so much
For America to come together.
For our freedom bird,
Had lost his feathers.
But still he flies high
Hunting America's prey
Never quitting
Until our enemy pays

Together we fell,
But united we'll stand
To defend our homes,
Our family and our land
We'll put our differences aside
And together we'll find
The man who can only hide

Good write. I wish our President felt the same way; though. He wants to take all soldiers out of Afghanistan by the end of 2005. Osama bin Forgotten to some, but fortunately not all. Keep up the good work.
