My Plea

Contributed by pleasure_is_pain103 on Monday, 13th December 2004 @ 06:51:44 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I don't know why my heart's still breaking
When you've been gone for so long
In this world of giving and taking
I'd give so much if you'd take me back where I belong

Everything I do, somehow reminds me of you
Good or bad, love or hate
It still hurts no matter what I do
You've made it clear that you're gone, but still I wait

All I want is to get inside your head
Cause I don't understand these words you've said
You're happy one day, then you leave
I wish I knew what to believe

You told me I was all you needed
Please tell me what has gone wrong
I've already begged and pleaded
And you've still been gone for way too long

Maybe if you could just see my face
And feel my touch once more
The memories will come back of my embrace
And you'll feel just as you did before

So will you just listen to my plea?
I love you
And I know you love me
Can you chain our hearts once more?
Can we please be together just as before?

How touching, I just want to cry. What an emotional plea for love to return. Writen in such a fine captivating manner. Very gripping. The reader feels the pain. An excellent write.

Lovely,

Corinna
