There's a stranger in the mirror,
I do not know her face.
The reflection should be me,
But that is not the case.
Where my reflection's pretty,
Hers is old and worn.
Where my eyes are full of hope,
Hers are full of scorn.
How did it happen?
How could this be?
How in the world,
Is my reflection not me?
Maybe I know,
But don't want to admit,
The truth of this vision,
And my lacking spirit.
This must truely be me,
The way I really look.
Without faith in God,
And one holy book.

The Reflection of one's soul without the light of god is cold and alone.

Yet again, great stuff. I really enjoyed this one. It's always a good start when we face up to reality & we are honest with ourselves.
Your last verse
This must truely be me,
The way I really look.
Without faith in God,
And one holy book
propts me to say, how we all need a purpose in life & without our relationship with god & our creator we have no purpose.
