A little snapshot of my life,
A lie in brilliant hues,
A smiling picture of my face,
But inside I've got the blues.
I try hard to keep it hidden,
This pain I hold inside,
So that even out of picture,
You can't see what I hide.
You say that no one's perfect,
You say that that's okay,
You say my fears can't hold,
You'll love me always anyway.
I'd like to tell you I believe,
I'd like to be all right,
But for me that's just not possible,
I've lost my will to fight.
So for now I'll keep my secrets,
This is how I'll be,
And the "Me" that's in the picture,
Is all that you will see.
