I can't control it.....
This anger coursing through my veins faster than my blood can flow.
I'm powerless against my agony,
Beating faster than my heart in my chest.
I want it to end more than anyone could know,
For it's draining my body faster than death itself.
I wish once more to feel my heart leap with joy,
Filled with the passion of love.
Instead it sinks even deeper into my chest,
Fearing what every new day has in store.
I wish it would all just leave me,
Like a baby bird leaving the nest to start it's own life.
I know it shall be the death of me,
Because it's consuming my whole body.
