Short verses (haiku?)
When chain saws
In the forest whine
Trees shiver.
When moon is full
And wolves howl
Foxes are silent
When it rains
On the ambiguous lake
Fish wake.
On leaven berries
My elephant, trumpet plays
Stars hide in black holes.

haikus have 5 syllables, then 7, and then five syllables again. so three lines with 17 syllables in all. |
