Here I am swinging on the stars,
Waiting for you to return from afar,
I love to pass the time just swinging,
Knowing that to me you’ll be soon bringing.
Bringing back to me your love,
Placing me back on my heavenly dove,
Among the doves, the stars & you,
How can a girl ever feel blue?
The stars twinkle as I pass them by,
They tell me I have no need to cry,
Because my love will come back to me soon,
Then my heart can continue its happy tune.
I look all around & I see such beauty & light,
It makes me think I’ve finally done something right,
I see the earth far below my feet,
Watching lovers as the secretly meet.
It reminds me of how we used to be,
I never thought you’d end up with me,
I am so glad that we found our way to each other,
Mark to me you are much more than just my lover.
