Agonizing Crusades

Weary and scorched eyes attempts a meager glimpse through personal calamities
The soundless panic of need, choked by the feared, but creditable immorality
The ideal vision of new found glory, gradually appearing behind blood stained glass
Destruction anxiously waiting for a new breed to surpass
Misery moves stealthily in a steadily pace
Obscurity blows its silver trumpets in the melody race
Stand firm with trampled legs to entice some respect
Yet, you witness the blade of sorrow slicing your neck
The grip of hope helps you proceed, but it won’t promise succession
Battered children cry fervently, cold winds breathing away
Acid raindrops sizzle the land, causing fruit seeds to decay
The General of Passion wears the Green Burette
Your jaded voice surrenders to silence on what it really needs to say
Now you are captured by Quintessential Agony
Indecisive. Dwelling upon the royalty of confusion
Your thread of life is held in the mystic hands of a crippled man
As you observe the elusive hour glass pouring down crystal sand
