I'd like to show my gratitude in this poem I'll write to you,
For all the times you've helped me when I was down and blue.
There are no words to tell you how thankful that I feel,
For having friends like you and him, a friendship that was real.
I'll miss you both with all my heart, but this must be his plan,
So I will pray and ask the Lord to help me understand.
I hope deep in my heart, that our paths will cross once more,
But if I'm not that lucky, I'll meet you at heaven's door.
