You were never there
You're my mom
And you're never there
You use to help me thru the pain
In my early years
You slacked off alot since then
You showed up when I was hurt and down
Drowning in my own pain
You held my hand and stayed by my side
You were gone when I woke
And now you're never there
You were always there for me
I'm left with dreams of the past
I'm left waking with tears in my eyes
I love you mom
But why can't you be the mom I use to know and love
