A longing breaks over me, I cannot sleep.
My body shakes and my soul trembles.
I am in a void of outlandish thoughts.
Can I? Should I? Will I?
All of this is brought on by one thing.
One person.
One face.
I have seen it my friends, the face of a goddess.
If only I could touch it without the fear.
If only I could hold her near.
God help me in these dire straights.
If she would just look my way!
What if she chooses another?
Would my small world break asunder?
What would happen if I saw her death?
Would I stop drawing the mortal breath?
Would I die if left alone?
Would my body turn to stone?
Without the warmth that her presence bears, I would surely die.
Will there ever be another so pleasing to the eye?
Shall I go, make her mine? Or would I be spoinling the divine?
God help me through these unexplored lands, give me strength, hold my hand.
Why do I fear the presence of one I love so dear?
Is it not meant to be?
Is it her?
Is it me?
Oh God, let me see!
Oh God, let us be!
