I noticed..

Contributed by vindicated_loZer on Sunday, 12th December 2004 @ 08:11:12 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I noticed every little detail
The sweat on your brow
Every facial expression
But you did you even care that I was watching?
after everything,
you didn''t even know
the way that I felt
and sometimes,
that''s the only thing
that keeps a person going.
So now that I know you don''t care
I won''t waste your time
any longer
I know that there are
::"better things"::
that you could be doing
So I''ll bid you now
with one final goodbye
and just letting you know,
that you could have changed how this ended,
but you chose not to.
so here I am
with this blade against my wrist
and then I grasp all my courage
and slowly began to glide it across the porcelain-looking skin
slowly dragging each little nook across
and it tugs
and then slicing
my imperfect incisions becoming visible with the presence of bright red
BLOOD
everywhere
Sorry,
for wasting
your precious
time. . .

As I read this.. I felt it.. Like I was the one with the blade.. I like poems that can do this. I'll be sure to come by this again.
