drunk again

Contributed by pleasure_is_pain103 on Sunday, 12th December 2004 @ 08:00:31 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Here I am, drunk again
Drowning my sorrows in what might have been
Just yesterday I thought I was fine
But then I remembered that you weren't mine

So here I am, Drunk and alone
Wishing I had more beer of my own
I havent drank enough to forget why I cry
I can still remember, your love was a lie

My sadness haunts me all through the day
Another drink will make it all go away
You left me here with a broken heart
And pretty soon my liver may fall apart

Why would you do this to someone like me?
I used to be alive, so happy and free
Now I'm sad, I wish I were dead
As I lay here, hung over in bed

Drowning in your sarrows. Not meaning to sound harsh. Your writes are deep and filled with emotions. With a talent such as you have I'm sure the right one will come along.
