As time goes by
Life moves on
Two years ago tonight
Our hearts are broken
Your wife and daughter by your side
Parents, sisters and friends were with you
Halls are quiet as the room fills
You lay in bed, eyes are closed
Your favorite music softly playing
We're told you can hear
Just to weak to respond
A peaceful state your in
As the hours are now down to minutes
Enough time to let you know how much you are loved
As hands are held
Prayers being said
Struggling for your last breath of air
Your heart stops, your life is over
Today flowers are taken to your grave
As eyes fill with tears
Two years later its hard to believe
Your life is gone but in our hearts your still alive
As time goes by
