Kindle The Flame

Contributed by hoist1atca on Friday, 10th December 2004 @ 09:38:36 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Come sit by my side tonight-
Let me hold you close in my arms-
My love is yours to take for always-
Embrace me and know that which I am…

Abandon the fears that hold you at a distance-
Reach out and take all that I have to offer-
Nourish the feelings that you seek pleasure in-
Surrender yourself unto the heat of love…

Touch my chest with a gentle hand-
Feel the passion that I have to give-
Kindle the flame with all that you are-
Feed the fire and let it burn out of control…

Let me taste the sweetness of your kiss-
Consume my body with that of your own-
Savor the moment that is now at hand-
Feel the sensations that flow from within you…

I am here before you now, without fear-
A burning desire to hold you so close to me-
With the willingness to fulfill all that you wish-
And the power to satisfy the need that you seek…

If you are not busy on Christmas morning, I have this big Christmas stocking just waiting to be filled with a miracle . . .

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
