A fluffy white rabbit
Friendly old ladies
Rainbows galore
Leaving cute pawprints upon my floor.
Postcards from friends
Don't these just make you smile?
You could sit and dream for just a while?
Nope.
The rabbit has rabies,
and rips off your flesh
In tiny pieces
And the ladies are really men
Out to kill you and steal what you have left
The rainbows are a bitter smile
Resulting from the depression of many
It is showing the beauty
In how others' pains can make one smile
The pawprints resemble
No matter how hard you try
Someone will always come
and ruin everything you try and do.
And the postcard from your friend
Tells how much she hates you
And hopes you die
This is my sweet lullaby.

Great right very fantasized in the beginning, then you get hit with a surprise of reality. Very powerful. |
