My Mother

Topic: FamilyPoems

My mother, my friend
My advisor, my strength
Where would I be if I didn’t have you in my life?
I used to not realize how blessed I was
But now I see the real gift god has given me
He’s given me you as my mother!

You’ve always been there to put a smile back on my face
Or to wipe away the tears that I cry
You’ve always been there to comfort me when I was scared
Or to take care of me when I was sick

I know we’ve had our fair share of differences
But you’ve taught me right from wrong
You’ve taught me to work for what I want
Supporting me every step of the way

You have never once doubted or underestimated my potential
You just pushed me to strive for the best and do what makes me happy
Everything I am today is partially because of you
You have inspired and encouraged me so much
You have been the push to make me keep going strong

You light up my life and warm my heart
We have had our share of tough times
But in the end we have come out closer and stronger
I couldn’t be happier!

I love being able to talk to you about things going on
I love the feeling of trust and respect you show me
Your arms are always open, as is your heart
You have never once shut me out or pushed me away

I’m your little girl, your little angel
And as I may grow up and into a women
I will always be your little girl
And you will always be the one I look up to

I admire and respect you so much
You mean the world to me even if it’s not always shown
I don’t know what I would do without you
I hope I have made you proud of me
I would never want to disappoint you

I love you so much and I am so blessed to have a mother like you
You are my mother, my friend
My advisor, my strength
And I am and always will be your little girl

So as the time goes by
And as I grow up
Don’t ever think that I wont need you anymore
I will always need you
I will always love you
You will always be my mother

As life begins, it as to end
And then I will have you as a guardian angel
Looking out for me just as you have my entire life
But even in heaven one thing will never change
You will always be my mother no matter where you are

I will always love you!
