I cried when I heard the news,
I cried when you went for checkups,
I cried when you lost your hair,
But tears won't come anymore.
I cried when I got the call,
I cried when I held your hand,
I cried when you whispered to me,
But tears won't come anymore.
I cried when I saw the reports,
I cried when the docters rushed in,
I cried when I left the room,
But tears won't come anymore.
I cried when they told me,
I cried when they gave me the papers,
I cried when I packed up your stuff,
But tears won't come anymore.
When I went to the wake,
When I went to the funeral,
When I was expected to show my grief,
The tears wouldn't come.
When I think of the now,
When I look at old photos,
When I remember the times we had,

| you had very nice format on this, though it looks like you left off the last line. though it was a bit repetetive, it was a great write. im sorry for your loss as well. |
