At night, he walks, quietly assessing, protecting.
He wanders around the ground he now calls home.
With his Katana at his waist; his hair in a frazil,
He guards the family he loves; the woman he loves.
They consider him a saint; yet he thinks he’s unworthy.
She worries of his well being,
But still she smiles for him, just to tell them,
She loves this man, this wandering spirit.
