One in black robes the other in armor
One uses magic the other a Claymore
Brothers in a never ending fight
To find a light in the darkest night.
Both need each other
More than blood brothers
They are tied together at the soul
That no one could ever control.
Raistlin a wasting man
Caramon a caring man
Together they are inviolable
but apart they are unstable.

| I love the Dragonlance stories and indeed the fellowship of friends that included Caramon and Raistlin though in most issues I somehow identify with Raistlin more. Nice work in trying to capture the enigma that is these troubled twins. All in all you did quite well in putting in poetic form their mortal forms...though it is a bit shallow for me at least being a fan of the stories it is perhaps a description that neede to be expanded and congealed into something more perhaps...just my opinions..but all in all nice work and kudos for bringing one of my more favourite stories into poetic light at least upon this site. |

| i have read the books and you are correct. this was the best poem to describe the brothers majere to people who know very little.

I too read the first trilogies, I always associated with Tanis more, but liked the internal battle the twins had to contend with. I think you did a great job with this.

I agree with Naz and BHK in regards its complexity, but as an introduction its ok, I guess.
I've owned and read every single TSR dragonlance publication, up until the chrnonogical age of mortals, where I lost interest.
The character I most identify with was Berem the Everman . . . for reasons best known to myself. |
