infatuation

Contributed by tigress on Tuesday, 26th November 2002 @ 01:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SecretLove

At first sight i knew who you were
At a second glance i knew there was more

Look of a person i'd only seen in my dreams
but you've come true, or so it seems

forbidden infatuation, is that what this is
blushes and giggles, you've caused me this

Never have i felt this kind of lust
turn away now, that is a must

i can not know you, for that would be wrong
do not give in to temptation, you can be strong

forbidden infatuation, i cannot let go
get over you how, you i don't even know

My mind hasn't left these thoughts of you
i don't understand why I want to be untrue

My one and only love, and now there's two
but it's only lust, and there's nothing i can do

you struck be with cupids arrow at first sight
all this brought in just one night

No passion to ruin my love's pure heart
but thoughts and feelings are worse from the start

forbidden infatuation, you're perfectly pure
this web of confusion, I cannot indure

handsom, smart, with a heart of gold
and all i want is you to hold

You are not mine, nor can i be yours
but these feelings are growing into something more

FORBIDDEN INFATUATION, where did you come from
a dream come true, my heart is now numb
