Fear not of what your eyes can see, rather beware of the unseen, the unheard. For there is nothing more treacherous than a force concealed and shrouded with darknessMan is indeed a fragile creature. He fears what he doesn't know, doesn't see, doesn't understand. For in the heart of every man lies a certain amount of ambiguity, doubts, anxiety... fear.No man is an undeniable master of his own heart... every single one is a slave to his own uncertainty. It is pitiful

When I read your poem, I felt anger. Both for the people whom you spoke of and for what was stated in your piece. Mankind in general is fragil. The ones that prey on the innocent are the ones who have these fears and doubts of their own mortality. Mankind in general pocess goodness. It is those in power that break that goodness into grains of sand. With all said, a thought-provoking piece, it has done its job. Good write. |
