Another year has fallen behind
And day falls into my lap
My twentieth year...
A path only you see.
Will I invest for eternity
Or squander for this world
Father you have known from the foundation of time
Before I was here
Before I was fashioned in the womb
By Your very hand
Before You made me what I am
Before You made my life what it is
You have always known.

You knew when I would call upon Iou
I still remember the day I prayed
Jesus, save me
You are the only way to Heaven
And let the crimson blood
Wash away my sin.
The price was paid that day I am sure
And thus I began my walk with You.
I remember the day I cried out to You
Lord your will be done
Take my life
I am Your earthen vessel
Teach me how to serve.
You knew my coming and goings of old
And knew I would bow
To live according to Your plan.

And there's the day that I fell to my knees
Broken, battered....
Feeling sorrow greater than before
And when you lifted me and carried me
You knew all my tears (Are they not written in your book?)
You knew my griefs and my sorrows for....
You bore them
That day...
With the cross on your back...
Trudging through the crowds
Scorned and bloodstreaked
Walking the path to...
Be truly broken battered so
That You may
Redeem Your creation.
You took my place...
And died.
You left Your Father
Came in our flesh
So that you could understand the pain I had
Separated from my Father
And you could be my Shepherd...
To lead me on.

Thank you Father
Lord, Adonai
Savior, Master,
For this breath.. (Do You not hold each one in Your hand?)
For this day... (Do You not plan each one?)
For a chance...
To live for you...(Do You not use Your sheep)
To be guided by you... (Do you not direct my paths?)
Once more.
Thank you for..
this
Relationship.
